Over the weekend, I was informed that my recent coverage at the Off-Beat Figure Drawing Sessions has been featured by BeatRoute Magazine, a monthly arts and entertainment paper in Western Canada. Among the many guest photographers being invited to the many past Off-Beat Figure Drawing Sessions, my photo was the one being chosen to be featured.
Besides feeling honored, I am feeling so grateful that my figurative art work have drawn quite some attention in the Western Canada art scene. This is something that I have least expected when I first started this genre. These works are simply just to explore, learn and push myself out of the comfort zone in photography, but along the way, I have learned so much and gained so many new friends. This is absolutely amazing.
Nevertheless, I would like to also thank and congratulate Desere Pressey, the artist and organizer of the Off-Beat Figure Drawing Sessions. Your hard work is finally being recognized and paid off.
