This winter, I have been fairly laid back in terms of my photography. Before the busy wedding season starts, I thought I should do another round of Figurative Art Photography, explore a little bit more since the last 10 Days Series, play around with studio lighting, and experiment more.
This time, I will take it easy in posting my work, not going as hectic like the last 10 Days Series. However, the style and feel of every collection will be very different. What’s consistent is I will inject a little more of my personal aesthetic – not restricting myself with tight space, narrow frame like the typical portrait, I am going to do what I do best – embracing spaces. Besides, I will also explore some of the previous concept in the last 10 Days Series, strengthen it and experiment some new elements. I am actually very excited and can’t wait to show it all right now.
Willow Cave – a warm up collection to get myself back to the ground.
For the first time working with model – Willow, it took me a while to find out what is the best way to showcase her.
Go back to basic, keep it simple, just like collection Simplicity and James Dean. Less is more and that always give the most impact!
I kinda lost of words to best describe Willow’s beauty – not Gothic, not eery, a little dark … there is just something unintentional from her that makes her look incredible.
The basement studio was cold, I believe it shows.
I would love to hear from you how do you like this collection. Any comment and feedback are very much appreciated. Besides, donât forget to âLikeâ my Facebook page to get the latest update of all my work.
